This movie is inspired by the true story of five students from MIT who gamble on the weekends to make big bucks. The screenplay is a good twist on an interesting story made even better by the fact that elements of it actually happened.

“21″ has a strong young acting cast along with the ever excellent Kevin Spacey. There are good action sequences filmed in various casinos. The lead actor, Jim Sturgess, helps bring this movie up a level. This guy is talented and was the best part of “Across The Universe”. The movie was produced by Kevin Spacey. Apparently from the extras on the dvd he didn’t originally plan to star in the movie. Kevin Spacey is one brilliant actor and one of my favorites and here as always he elevates the quality of the film. This is a fun and intriguing movie with good acting, direction and story, one worth watching.
