Movie Review: Hot Tub Time Machine
Three high school friends in mid-life crisis are brought together by circumstances and in the process they realize they need to start spending more time together. Adam and his nephew Jacob travel with Adam’s friends Nick and self-destructive Lou to relive their best times from the 80′s at a winter ski resort. The group of guys stumble upon a hot tub in their room, start partying and discover they are transported back to 1986 so they can relive their youthful heyday.
Hot Tub Time Machine has a dumb name, this is not Hamlet, ok, but it is an enjoyable, silly movie. This goofy buddy movie shows guys who relive their youth, couched in 80′s music. The cast is uniformly funny, particularly the four leads, Cusack, Corddry, Robinson and Duke. Chevy Chase plays the master of the time machine and Crispin Glover is especially funny as an unlucky bellhop.
This is not the level of comedy of The Hangover but it is fun, rent Hot Tub Time Machine for the mindless, goofy buddy comedy it provides.

2010. Directed by Steve Pink. Starring John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Crispin Glover, and Chevy Chase.
