Movie Review: It’s A Wonderful Life
George Bailey is an everyman, a regular guy who dreams of being a great architect only to put aside his dreams to run the family business and loan. When a banking mistake by George’s uncle puts the family business on the brink of disaster, George wishes he was never born, and in the process experiences a miracle instead.
It’s A Wonderful Life is a classic Christmas film, one that is shown every year. Yes, the film is in black and white, the film style is from the 40′s and old black and white films may not be your cup of tea. Nonetheless, if you haven’t seen It’s A Wonderful Life or haven’t seen it in many years, the story of how one man’s life touches so many others is touching, funny, and reminds us all we are not alone. It’s A Wonderful Life is one of my all time favorite films starring the talented James Stewart. It is worth a watch every year, especially when you need to remember what Christmas is all about.
