Movie Review: When Harry Met Sally
Harry and Sally are long time friends who didn’t quite hit it off when they first met, but their friendship has lasted over time. They both agree they should never cross the line of friendship into sex, but over the years each perfect relationship they have with others doesn’t quite measure up to their friendship.
This movie is one of the best romantic comedies to date, a real classic that rings true every time you watch it. The movie is expertly directed by Rob Reiner, with a clever screenplay by Nora Ephron. Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal are perfectly cast, their line delivery and chemistry leading to laughs and touching moments. The able supporting cast include Carrie Fisher and veteran character actor Bruno Kirby.
When Harry Met Sally gives you every reason to root for the real, fallible, funny love these two find together along their journey of life. If for some reason you have never seen When Harry Met Sally, this is a great movie to inspire you in the new year. Rent it, laugh, and enjoy.
